If anything, the Dutch audio maestros of Hel:sløwed have shown a spectacular variety of sounds, bending melodic techno, progressive and trance to fit their very own palette of audio colors. Their career has taken flight through the sounds of ‘In Silence’, ‘If You Only Knew’ & ‘Wildfire’ (w/ Amber Revival), and a set of powerful remixes, from Grooveyard’s ‘Mary Go Wild’ and Tiësto’s ‘Flight 643’ to Jerome Isma-Ae’s ‘Hold That Sucker Down’ and more. In 2025, they plan to further widen their horizon, kicking off with the mind-bending, dark-side-of-the-sound ‘Schmetterling’.

It’s been a fan-favorite ever since its first play at ADE ‘24, and while it’s far from the duo’s debut, its impact on the dance floor is undeniable. ‘Schmetterling’ shows that Hel:sløwed doesn’t shy away from a bit of experimenting. Fit for both trance crowds, as well as a 6AM afterparty in one of Berlin’s underground techno clubs, ‘Schmetterling’ is the dark horse that might just propel these guys to new territories.
